There’s something more going on at the horse show.
Seems like the folks from the Chrome Horse Society Tequila are causing quite the stir. Pun fully intentional.
Their newly created signature drink, the “Show Pony” comes with its own horse powered kick. Refreshing and uplifting, you can get this cocktail right there at the horse show: find the special bar nestled between the Galleria and the Wellington Club.

I had the pleasure to meet the executive staff and key people behind this extraordinary Tequila:
Above left is the Chrome Horse Society’s founder Jack Morgan, with his main bartender Todd, standing to the right.
At the beginning of each new product is a dream and its journey. Here, it was Jack who was inspired by his lifelong passion for riding and excellence. The tequila is made from pure ingredients, triple distilled to produce a spirit that’s in the top league.

Meeting Renick Townsend was a fresh breeze, a beautiful face and professional in the PR & Marketing industry. Lucky me had a chance at a friendly conversation with her, and I was delighted to have met Renick during this event.
Jack Morgan chose his support team wisely.

I came for the horse show, but then I stayed for the tequila, haha.
I’m not that bad really, but I wanted to be at this inaugural event for the “Show Pony”, the signature drink for the horse show. However the experience of sampling it was quite shall we say, invigorating.

What struck me most about the Show Pony was its immediate refreshing quality, with its ever so slightly tangy, then citrusy, fruity flavor, and coming in after the esters, was the spirited tequila underscore.
Very, very pleasant.
I can see this cocktail becoming a staple that every visitor should have at least once. I promise you’ll be back for more.

The Show Pony was specifically created as a signature drink exclusively for the 2026 Wellington International show jumping series of events. You’ll get yours freshly made by one of the skilled mixologists, in your own commemorative glass.

Insider tip: not only does this bar serve great cocktails, you’ll also have a spectacular viewing spot of the jumping events.

Thank You for the opportunity to meet everybody and the journey of the Chrome Horse Society. And Thank You for a terrific introduction to a creative cocktail that’s sure to find many friends.
Now it’s galloping into the sunset…
