A spectacular event needs a grand entrance
Tournaments of the GPL Gay Polo League have always something extrordinary to offer to any spectator.
The vibe, the scene, the excitement of a fast sport, and the brilliance of bringing together Polo lovers and members of the LGBTQ community. All for a good cause and camaraderie. A weekend of joy, and a weekend of pure love.
It may sound like an unusual pairing, but it is indeed a very well established event by Chip McKenney and his tireless team. And here at “POLO in Wellington”, we were lucky enough to have followed it since its inception.
The host venue was the same as last year: the fantastic, beautiful Patagones Polo Club. And it was a day to remember: countless fans milled about the many tailgating tents, cheerfully and in a festive mood.
Definitely on the list for next year!
